I just have to share this video.
I know most here wont get why it just... well, not exactly ticks me off. First off, it makes me laugh, and then it makes me think of the underlying issue of Taiwanese society. Then I have a beer and all is forgotten. But an hour later, the nagging comes back.
Okay, well, the point is... its an advertisement for an English school here in Taiwan. It's not the worst one I've seen, but its pretty bad.
At the start of the ad you see a little girl talking to an elevator. Why she's talking to an elevator is beyond me.
You see, though you can't understand what the hell she's saying, she is actually speaking English.
Then the white girl notices. You see, the white girl is speaking Chinese.
She basically says to the man, "your daughter is the ish"
I would have told him you spend too much money on English schools.
Also, what's the deal with the white girl walking into the elevator and being pushed out? Rude!
