Mariah wants her MTV: She'll sing at awards
The ubiquitous Mariah Carey will turn up as a performer at the upcoming 2005 MTV Video Music Awards. Carey, who performed during NBC's telecast of Macy's Fourth of July fireworks, joins a list of performers that includes Kelly Clarkson, the Killers, Kanye West and Green Day.
The annual awards show will be held Aug. 28 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami and air live on MTV. Sean (P. Diddy) Combs will host the star-studded affair.
