Brothers Jake and Will Grimm, renowned collectors of folklore, have made a career out of traveling from village to village pretending to rid them of "enchanted" creatures. Their bluff is called, however, when they are forced by Napoleon's French government to investigate a haunted forest where girls have been disappearing mysteriously. What they discover leads to a series of adventures involving an actual evil (and immortal) sorceress that mirrors that of mythology and the fables that the Brothers Grimm would eventually become famous for.

This looks interesting enough for DVD release. I don't think I'll catch it in the theatre, but I'm a blockbuster gold rewards member so I'll probably take it on my 4th rental for the month. No harm, no foul if it turns out to be doo-doo.
I hope you're right. I wasn't thrilled by the trailer. It looks ok, but nothing spectacular. Kinda funny too. I'm sure that they all will perform their acting duties fine, but I'm just hoping the script is decent, and not doo-doo...
That's not bad... It's just that when I saw the trailer, I was reminded of the plot for The Three Amigos, which, while I enjoyed the movie as a kid, I'm not anxious to re-live in a new form as an adult... I hope that my initial impression is off, though... The movie at least has a strong presence in the way it looks.
It seems reeeeeeeeeeeeally hit and miss with me. I am a Matt Damon fan, but the dude seems to either pick really good projects or total stink holes. We shall see.
I think it looks pretty cool. Kind of exciting, but amusing at the same time. If there's nothing that looks better around the time it comes out, I'll probably go to the theatre to check it out.
