Listen harder because in the UK we have had nothing but condemnation about this attack from many Muslims who now are in fear of thier lives from Right wing mobs looking for an excuse to kill them.
So then is it against their religion to publicly condemn another Muslim for acts of murder?
I can understand the fear other Muslims feel but, it is either they condone it or condemn it and their leadership should support the majority. In this case, I think those that condemn it are the minority. It is the leader who need to publicly condemn it. But then, they will have to fear for their lives too as they are also a minority.
I've watched the news on this for 2 days and have seen nothing of the sort so, that leads me to believe as I have said above.

You really need to invest in getting satellite radio.
On stations like the BBC radio there have been several public condemnations by Muslim leaders in Great Britain.
See, that's part of the problem living in the US, you start to believe our media tells all....it doesn't.
As far as condemning Islamic jihad....it has been said by people who have come out of Jihad and written in their books, that there is a large portion of Islamic intellectuals and clerics who will openly say one thing and believe another...it's not against the Islam religion to lie for Allah and jihad in fact it is encouraged.
Yes, many people have stood up and said that this is not anything to do with islam itself and i belive that whatever is goin on wil soon come to pass-just as 9/11 passed and the after affects will have to be dealt with carefully also.
This is going to sund nuts and many people will reduse to believe but the political wing of Hamas has condemmed the bombings on London by saying that "there could be no justification for the London bombings", there has also been condemnation form Iran " we condemm the use of violnece to achieve aims" " We ondemm these detested acts" Syrias President said. Hizbollah denounced the attacks on "relgious and moral grounds". Saudi Arbia said that " we understand Londons suffering" Lebanons President says " the we share Birtains pain" Egypts foreign minister " we must be brave in the scourge of terror" And Morroc described the attacks as "heinous"
I belive this because although i admit i felt suspicious of 'iraqi' looking people at first on thursday on my way home, i know dat how i felt was wrong and i cannot stereotype people. I can easily admit this but the way society behaves and schookids in particular-its easy to fall into the crowd and feel like this.
I finally saw an article on the condemnation of Islamic Fundamentalists by a Cleric. It was buried on page 14 of the local paper. Plastered all over the front page was the Rove fiaso.
This news paper is pretty much left of center. (Milwaukee Journal/Sentinal) I saw a similar position in USA Today. If there are more of these condemnations, they are being suppressed by left wing media outlets. God forbid, someone actually agrees with Bush on anything.
We certainly don't see this information on the front pages or headline news here in the US.

Hmm I think that no matter what religion you are in (if you are in one) they all have their group of radicals. Look at Timothy McVeigh he claimed to be Christian and he took part in killing how many people??? Same thing with Muslims and Islam not all of these people are malicious and evil but the ones that are need to be dealt with. BTW I am a Republican and a conservative one at that.
