I hate when directors add in the deleted scenes. The Gag reel, i understand, but deleted scenes? I mean, they're obviously UNNECESSARY scenes that were chosen to be left out of the main movie. Why do I need to see something that made no difference in the first place? And if you've ever watched them, they're usually like, one of the characters getting out of the car and walking to the front door and using a pre-greeting different than the one they started with in the actual movie. i mean, WHO CARES. Different endings - sometimes those are cool. Commentaries are only funny in comedies. and why do they include the trailers? does anyone ever watch those again? i mean, you've ALREADY SEEN IT! it's not much of a TEASER anymore is it?

I used to like deleted scenes when the whole DVD thing began to take off. After a while I stopped caring. I only watch deleted scenes on Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy DVDs... 'cause they're usually funny.

Same here. I usually just forget about the extra content. I could care less. Although I do want to see the alternate ending on X-Men 3 because the regular ending angered me so much.
About the only "Special Features" on a DVD that I'll really watch are the short films (if there are any) and the gag reel. Other than that, the rest is really just boring to me.
Speaking of which, don't you just hate it when they take an animated movie and create their own gag reel for it as if the characters were real? Those have never really been all that funny to me.
It's black. It's shiny. I'm keeping it!

awww, I LOVE THOSE. I think they're funny. maybe not HILARIOUS, but I laugh.
and I love when there are short animated films at the start of an animated movie.
