Well, unfortunately, he's one of the hundred or so people on the plane... so he'll either have to parachute off or find a very tall building to jump onto its roof. I'd say he's going to take evasive action and totally avoid the missles that the military shoot at them.
The thing is... diplomatic flight... president shooting at it... even though its been 'hijacked,' it doesn't look good for Logan from any angle. Especially since the pilot knows the threat has been neutralized, and simply wants to land.
Exciting times ahead.

Though they've probably answered the question in last night's episode, I don't get how the president thinks he can shoot down a plane that's trying to land, and that everybody (in the control towers and such) knows simply wants to land. The dude is the world's biggest Ernie.

Would you believe I fell asleep and didn't get to watch the last hour of 24? I will catch it this weekend I am sure. What channel shows it all the time? I forget.

On a night full of season, and series, finales, Monday's Nielsen ratings stuck pretty close to their usual pattern, with CBS scoring an overall victory and FOX grabbing the demographic crown.
CBS averaged a 9.0 rating/14 share among households for the evening, beating FOX's 8.1/12 for the top spot. NBC grabbed third with a 7.3/11. ABC, which said goodbye to "Alias," was fourth at 5.8/9. The WB, 1.6/3, and UPN, 1.4/3, were both well back.
FOX earned the highest rating, 5.4, in the adults 18-49 demographic that makes advertisers happy. CBS took second with a 4.7, followed by NBC at 4.1. ABC came in fourth with a 3.0. UPN and The WB tied at 0.9.
"Deal or No Deal," 8.7/14, put NBC on top in a competitive 8 p.m. hour. ABC was second in households with its special "Oprah Winfrey's Legends Ball," 8.3/13, though the first half of the "24" finale (7.5/12) on FOX had more total viewers. The season finale of "The King of Queens," 5.6/9, and "The New Adventures of Old Christine," 5.1/8, put CBS in fourth. A "7th Heaven" rerun on The WB edged repeats of "One on One" and "All of Us" on UPN.
CBS took the lead in households at 9 with the season finales of "Two and a Half Men," 9.9/15, and "Old Christine," 8.6/13. The conclusion of "24" posted an 8.7/13 and led the hour in viewers. NBC dropped to third with "The Apprentice." Part one of the "Alias" series finale delivered a 4.8/7 for ABC. "Everwood," 2.0/3, kept The WB ahead of UPN, which went with "Girlfriends" and "Half & Half."
The "CSI: Miami" season finale, 12.4/19, drew the night's best rating for CBS at 10 p.m. NBC's "Medium" concluded its season with a 6.8/11, while "Alias" wrapped up with a 4.3/7.
