She probably did lose the job based on her behavior. Maybe if her attitude had been better or different, the result may have been that her associates worked in a way that resulted in fewer problems during the task.
Was her behavior the result of working with "stooges", or did the problems that developed happen because of her attitude? Was she a part of the cause of the drama?
About the brochure, I don't know who did what, except that Tana came up with the round shape design. While that is eye catching, that is not all that went into making the brochure a success. Photo selection was key (I thought Tana & Craig did that), and the writing and colors all made it a success. It wasn't just Tana's round shape idea.
I agree Tana would be a great person for anyone to have on board. I just don't think she fit the Trump organization as well as Kendra . . . IMO. But it's over now, and success to both!
I found the choice of assignments for the winner interesting - one a beauty pageant and the other a massive renovation - both sort of female oriented?

I found them to actually be cheesy.
An administrator for a Miss Universe Contest or renovate a mansion in Palm Beach?
I mean compare that to what he gave Bill and Kelly? Bill got to put up oversee the constuction of the Trump Hotel in Chicago and was paid 250,000 for that year...now he is Trump's right hand guy.
Kelly got to work with Trump and work on a huge development project in New York.
Kendra gets to renovate a mansion?
Is it me...or does it seems as if Trump doesnt put much weight in the Apprentice woman he hired? (Since he offered that same thing to Tana....it goes for her as well).
I dont know what anyone else thinks...but I see a massive difference between what Bill and Kelly got compared to what Kendra ended up with.
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

When they went through the summary of all the tasks at the beginning of the show, and Trump highlighted some of the things Kendra and Tana had done throughout, I did think that Trump had come up with the two best candidates in the end. They came up with the exclusive cross promotional idea for the miniature golf, selling pizzas to businesses, and doing the focus groups to figure out what the customer wanted.
Actually, after watching the summary, I did think that overall, Tana was awesome. Recalling her negotiated for the online auction, she did really great. I think if she hadn't acted like such an idiot on the last task, treating her team badly and the governor, too, she would have been hired.
Anyway, I agree that the project choices presented to Tana and Kendra were very lame. It did seem like cream puff positions to women vs. high level projects for Bill and Kelly. I did catch part of the Today show where Trump said Kendra would first be helping Caroline this summer at managing golf courses. Yeah, there's some high level stuff there...NOT.
On the Today show, Trump promised that Apprentice 4 is going to be the best ever. Doesn't he always say that though?
One thing that I think we must keep in mind is that Trump's people will edit those summaries so that he doesn't look like a bozo for picking those two. They have a vested interest in making them look good.
As for the project choices, I think for once Trump made a good decision. Neither woman showed anywhere close to the leadership capabilities of Bill or Kelly. For that matter, neither one was even as good as last year's runner-up, the much-hated Jennifer Massey. And neither woman could hold a CANDLE to Amy Henry. He chose two easy projects because he knew he had two weak candidates, in my opinion.
He probably also chose those projects because neither one has construction experience (it seems), which many people think are male dominated arenas.
Even if Bill and Kelly didn't know much about construction, the construction people on the projects would sure take direction more easily from them than they ever would a woman trying to be in construction. If I were Kelly, I sure wouldn't want to be involved with Trump Ice. I've heard people don't like it.
As far as Kendra working with Caroline - it's a good thing for Kendra. Trump puts a lot of store in golfing and schmoozing people while doing it. If Caroline couldn't handle running the golf courses exactly like he wants, she sure wouldn't be around! That's a political arena and whoever is in charge or involved better know how to keep everyone happy! Let's see what the fall brings.
A good manager or boss doens't necessarily have to know how to do all the tasks. He/she just needs to know how to be the boss. Make the hard decissions. Why do you think companies hire managers who have majored in Underwater Backet Weaving. I have seen want ads for managers and all it say is that they must have a degree. Like that degree in Underwater Backet Weaving magacially make that person better qualified to manage than say someone who spent 20 years in the military.
Some of those street smarts people I'm sure would be a better manager than any one of the book smarts people. But Bosses with degrees tend to hire others with degrees and demand having their managers have degrees.
But take Lee Iacocca he turned Chrysler around as it's CEO yet he was a High School drop out.

The worst part of this that I have seen, is that when the Professor teaches the class, he is giving them an ivory tower version of what the workforce is,
some of it is truth that works, some of it is just plain garbage.
The college graduate gets out and thinks it's all gospel, goes to work, and tries to implement the good stuff and the garbage.
The smart ones, through on the job experience , learn to chuck the garbage they learned and do what works in the real world.
The dumb ones never learn, and run the company in the ground, have a lot of turn over, etc.
Trump seems to understand this, I think he wants both, the college education and the street smarts.

Whether she is or isnt really the problem anymore...
Look what her prize was compared to the previous men that won!!!
Yeah...he really looks at her highly eh? I mean this is the best job he could give the best woman? And you think he thinks highly of her capabilities by giving her that particular job?
Not in my book.
