Yup. In America they'll always come out on a Tuesday. England they'll come out on a Monday, and in Australia they can come out whenever they damn well feel like it.

I think the UK and America put greater emphasis on what sells well, because the rest of the world looks at their charts when deciding what'll be hot and what won't be. In Australia we quite often don't get CDs that come out in the UK or America until months after they're released, just because the record companies there don't believe they'd sell.
