I think Vonzie's tears got her some sympathy votes...but I knew it was gonna be a close call between the two...unfortunately, I think based on last night...America got it wrong.

That sucks. Vonzell was really bad last night. I think she got sympathy votes for crying. Not very professional to cry because you are homesick. I hope Anthony gets a record deal. I'll miss him.

Nope. I would still say Vonzell. The girl covers her pitch problems with acrobatics. I think her crying is the reason she is still there. Paula should NEVER have brought up her having a bad day. That sent rumors all over about her having a sick parent, or a fan who died of cancer. Vonzell got a lot of smypathy votes. That being said, I do not think Anthony would have made the final two. I think it will and should be Bo and Carrie.
Carrie was really torn up over him getting voted off. Did you see her crying and mouth "I love you " to him? It was very sad.

Since Anthony is out now...I'm on my radio/talk show interview spree. So far I've got the Ryan Seacrest interview with Anthony downloaded and loaded onto my ipod...and there will be an Anthony appearance tonight on the Tonight show, and I heard he's going to also be on two shows next week. Hopefully there will be websites with links to download the videos since I have my finals next week.

well i'm a late starter to American idol this term round but from what i saw so far i really dint think anthony would get to the final 3.
True Vonzell got the sympathy vote but you shouldnt forget that theres a pretty good chance she got the vote from all those who voted for the previous guy out ... cant remember his name but i think he was known for singin similar genre to her.
You also have to take into account that in the previous yrs the voters have been used to hearing and voting for RnB singers (i think Fantasia would be in that category as well ... she is a diva after all )
I dont think Vonzell is the strongest singer though... Carrie does sound pretty good at times but she doesnt have the stage presence even though she is also stunning looking like Vonzelle who tries to work the stage more.
Bo is the obvious favourite though - he's a guy and he can sing! After all most of the voters will be female if i'm not mistaken.... so the girls really have a tough task ahead if they want to win idol!
