I don't think that he's the CAG! Starbuck is still the CAG on Galactica.
He's just filling out different jobs while they are orbiting about New Caprica.
And, now that they all jumped away, I'm wondering where they went, and when they will return.

Well, I believe that a good 80%, or more, of the survivors, are sitting down on that planet. Anything is possible though. It just didn't seem like there was a soul in those ships.

Nah. I watched the last 10 minutes of the finale today and Adama said half of BSG's crew was on the planet. Had to assume the same for BSP.
New Capirca had 39,000+ people. Last count on Roslin's board was about 49,000 people. Don't know how many died in the Cloud 9 explosion, a few thousand maybe?
I would think that it was at least 3 or 4 thousand that was killed on the Cloud 9. But, there was also a couple other ships taken out with that nuclear explosion. So, I would say that they could have lost a good 5,000+ people.

You know, I don't remember seeing it raised after the BSP surfaced. I don't think that she had a big crew though, because Cain killed off a lot of people.

My favorite characters are Adama, Baltar, #6, Boomer, Xena, Helo, and the Cylon Priest.
If they are in the storyline, I'm very satisfied. The rest of them, Apollo, Starbuck, Chief, Pres Roslin, etc., I don't really get into their story arcs.
I was more interested in Starbuck and Apollo in the begining, now not so much. I thought I was getting tired of Baltar but he changes enough to keep it interesting.
I still like all the characters... but, some have storylines that are just better than others.
I think that Baltar is going to become more interesting as season three begins. We're going to see more of this side of him working WITH the cylons. They are going to do whatever it takes to manipulate him to doing what they want done.
