Empire Online talked to Kingdom of Heaven star Orlando Bloom about both Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean 3, which are in the process of filming.
Bloom returns at Will Turner in the anticipated sequels along with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann. He says that "we're shooting parts of three, but I still haven't seen the script!"
Asked how we would meet up with Will at the beginning of "Dead Man's Chest," Bloom said, "obviously at the end of the first movie you see him in the clutches of Elizabeth. But the course of true love never runs smooth in love in life, does it? So a few things come up and he goes off on another journey to save Elizabeth and the lives of everybody else.
"But I think he's going to assume more of the pirate's role," he continued, "and by the end of the third movie there's a few dark twists to the character of Will Turner and I think people are going to wonder what his motives are and what he's all about."

Talking to BBC's Radio 1, Bloom said, "They've come up with something bigger and better for the next two movies. They had to top the skeletal pirate thing and I think they've really managed it, haven't they?"
He continued, "There's this sequence with a Kracken - it's a big squid - and some other things...oh, was that too much information?!"
They also talked to co-star Keira Knightley, who added: "I have a sword fight with two swords, which has been the biggest challenge, but also the thing that I'm most excited about because it's fantastic. I was well impressed!"
Disney has scheduled a July 7, 2006 release date for "Dead Man's Chest" and a summer 2007 bow for Pirates of the Caribbean 3.
While I must admit that Orlando is quite the looker, I am more partial to Johnny. In fact, I realized that if I find him attractive in all that eyeliner like he wears in the Pirates films, then he must definitely be a good looking man.
Johnny isn't who I'll be looking at for eye candy. Keira has that department LOCKED UP.
Everything that I've seen regarding these movies has me believing that this summer will be a battle between Superman Returns and POTC2: DMC. I say, bring on the competition, baby...
