WILL.I.AM TO HELP REBUILD SOUTH ASIA
Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am is so moved after seeing the devastation December's tsunami caused in South Asia, he's decided to help rebuild the region.
While in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he played the tsunami aid concert Force of Nature on March 18, the star toured the area to view the destruction, and has since decided to help rebuild the area more directly, reports MTV.com.
The rapper's charitable foundation, the Will.I.Am Foundation has joined forced with Octogon, LLC and Force of Nature to construct new homes in the hard-hit area.
He says in a statement, "Seeing the disaster with my own eyes has been life-changing. Seeing the children on the street and families displaced makes it clear what we need."
