mystic, I've never said this but I disagree on how loveable Rob is.
I find him annoying as heck! I wouldn't want to be friends with this guy in real life. I don't find him amusing, just pathetic and sad. He takes pleasure manipulating people for his OWN needs and I don't think he even considers other peoples feelings. He's a classic "user". I tend to gravitate away from people like Rob and his equally annoying fiance Amber.
I know it's a game and they want to win BUT they are going overboard. I think Rob is completely vain and evil.
They are both greedy, attention seeking and liars. I don't see how anyone could look up to them.
Rob has no morals. IF someone played his dirty trick on him I'm sure he would be ticked off. No matter what, I hope they get eliminated soon. I hope the "boyfriends" take them out or even better: Meredith and Gretchen.
I can see why you think he's adding excitement and drama to the show but I disagree with anyone who tells me that they are making the show. Amazing race doesn't need them for ratings.
I'd even speculate that Rob is told to be as manipulative as possible to the camera. Geez, he gets enough airtime!
But I cant help it...I love Rob. In the normal world, I might say that I probably would never be friends with the guy...but thats hard to say, cause we dont really know what he is like outside of a competitive situation like in Survivor or this show. So maybe he isnt as bad of a person as you might think
But as a manipulator on the show....I cant help it...I think he is a riot.
If they do have to tell him to be like that...then maybe he isnt so bad in the "real"world.
He formed this reputation from Survivor, and now he has this "bad boy" reputation...whether or not it suits him in reality, I dont think us TV viewers will really ever know.
Either way...I think he makes for great TV viewing...
What can I say....I love the guy's manipulative ways....its a game after all...so its been fun to watch what he does next.

I respect your opinion on Rob mystic. I am just not a fan of him . I think it stems from his Survivor days. Oh well, we can have different POV's and still be pals of course! I was just stating my opinion.
I feel he's cheating his way to a million dollars again. Like they need another million dollars? I hope anyone else wins.I don't enjoy watching him do those things...those other contestants are struggling and he's just messing up their chances so he can have more face time. I guess that's what bothers me about him the most.

The Rob & Amber team has certainly made what would just be a who can run/drive/row etc. faster, into what curve ball Rob can throw into the mix so as to make it more interesting.
As far as who I hope wins it, I haven't decided yet but I do know who I don't want to win it, Ray & Deanna!

Deanna ....What is wrong with her, to take that crap from him.
I like Uchenna & Joyce because they always are in a good mood and always support each other and are genuinely having fun.
I also like Rob & Amber for the same reason as above plus they do add that devious element to the game.
the rest I am sort of neutral at this point in the game.

After last week when Rob taking a 4 hour penalty for not eating his 4 pound meal. (I couldn't eat a 4 pound meal of my favorite foods much less a 4 pound meal which included brains, intestines and other assorted vomit inducing items). Rob made a quick and as it turns out a most intelligent decision in declaring early on that he would take the penalty and in true Rob fashion he recruited others to do the same. (since he knew that he was the first team to call it quits on eating, it meant that every team that he could recruit to do the same would be behind them.
they did not come in first that week but as we know now they were the only team which took the penalty that was able to make the early flight.

On last week's show Rob & Amber came in first! Making up thier lost penalty time by just barely making the early flight.

During a challenge, one Racer falls down a cave and comes up covered in blood from a gash on the head. Will that Team be able to race to the Pit Stop?
When two Teams race for the first Fast Forward of the Race, both their balance and their fear of heights are tested. Will either of them win the pass?
Teams get emotional after a visit to a local orphanage, which many describe as the best moment of the Race.
(I think this might be Uchenna & Joyce, one of my favorite couples)
An intense drive ends with one Team getting into a horrible car accident. Will they recover and stay in the Race?

no eliminations last week...I still like Meridith and Gretchen even though she disappointed me with her whining over searching the silver boxes. Uchinna and Joyce keep climbing up my favorites list because they don't whine and they are truly enjoying it all.
Lucknow India, Wow what can you say about such a crowded city. I could never live in such crowded conditions. It reminded me about the Star Trek episode where a planet was so over crowded that nobody knew what the word alone meant.

on Tuesday's show Rob said Uchinna was stupid because he was looking for an earlier flight. Now I remember why I didn't like Rob on Survivor, it was his comments about the others which were hateful. I am now solidly in Uchinna and Joyce's camp.
