People Magazine's Best and Worst Dressed
BEST

GWEN STEFANI: BEST
The always unique Gwen Stefani (a nominee for best female pop vocal performance for "What You Waiting For?") is a playful addition to the red carpet in a sheer, anything-but-basic black, draped minidress.

BEYONCE: BEST
Sultry Beyonce (nominated with Destiny's Child for best group R&B performance for "Lose My Breath") shows off her sexy curves in a graceful black gown accented with gold trim.

USHER: BEST
Usher, who took home three awards, lights up L.A.'s Staples Center in stark white, including a dapper vest, offset with a dark tie and plenty of bling.

JENNIFER LOPEZ & MARC ANTHONY: BEST
Newlyweds Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who performed a romantic duet of their ballad "Escapemonos," also coordinate their fashion choices: Lopez in a delicate, ruffled baby-blue dress, and Anthony (who won best Latin pop album for Amar Sin Mentiras) in an elegant, pinstriped suit.

QUEEN LATIFAH: BEST
Grammys host Queen Latifah is a tangerine dream in a pleated column gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. A sparkling gold necklace completes the look.

JOSS STONE: BEST
Best new artist nominee Joss Stone takes her breezy bohemian style up several notches in an eye-catching, body-hugging floral Petro Zillia gown.

ALISON KRAUSS: BEST
Bluegrass artist (and double Grammy nominee) Alison Krauss adds some old-school glamor to the Grammys in an elegant, strapless scarlet gown
WORST

SHERYL CROW: WORST
Nominee Sheryl Crow (for best female pop vocal performance for "The First Cut Is the Deepest") may have a buff body, but her halter dress – featuring a peekaboo tummy cutout trimmed with what looks like tinsel – doesn't flatter her figure.

AMY LEE: WORST
Wearing tattered layers of tulle, Amy Lee (nominated with Evanescence for "My Immortal") looks like she's modeling a goth prom dress instead of a Grammy gown.

JOHN MAYER: WORST
Just call him Sgt. Pepper: Double-Grammy winner John Mayer (for his song "Daughters") misses the mark in a Beatles-inspired velvet blazer.
Let's go with this freak show. It's outrageous.
