Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton's partner in crime on the hit reality series The Simple Life, is to take a trip down the aisle after it was announced she has become engaged to her beau Adam Goldstein on Tuesday. While no date has been set for the nuptials the two, who have been an item for over a year, recently moved into a Hollywood Hills home together.
Adam is a professional club disc jockey in Los Angeles, mixing tunes under the name DJ AM. Last month he provided the music for a jeans commercial starring his fiancée.
After spending two seasons tormenting small towns around the US, Paris and Nicole have been dispatched to the corporate world for the third instalment of their hit series, entitled The Simple Life: Interns.
Nicole also has other career ambitions. The 23-year-old will be following in the footsteps of her father, soul veteran Lionel Richie, as she takes a stab at launching a music career.
Nicole and Adam's engagement comes after a year-long romance. The couple recently set up home together in the Hollywood Hills
