"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
Whidden said this in post #15 : Greg wasnt' that sharp of a tool.
He never should have taken his girlfriend on the reward challenge, he should have took Tom or Ian, split them up, try to seperate the competition.
We said the same thing last night when we were watching! It was one thing to pick Jen, but after he found out he could have another, he definitely should have taken one of the guys...it was a stupid move on his part.
I have to laugh at Tom's reaction after Gregg picked Katie and told the guys that he would make it up to them...and Tom said "Oh, well, we'll pay you back."
And they did, didnt they!
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)
"You might be the toughest little whacker. . .but in my world, you're about as worrisome as a cloudy day." (Dutch Dooley)
That didn't make sense to me either. I guess they thought that if they took out Caryn now, because she's loyal to Tom, then if either Tom or Ian won immunity at the following challenge, they could just vote the other one off.
I probably would've played it the same way, because I'd be DAMNED if I let Caryn stay in the game longer than Ian or Tom, but I'd still have the ability to take out Tom and Ian in the future, because I'd have the upper hand where the voting is concerned.
