Paris and Nicole Meet TV's Toughest Spy
As they more than proved in their reality TV show The Simple Life, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are used to making quite an impression on the menfolk who cross their path. Casting a spell on their fellow guests at the annual Fox party may not have been so easy, though, because two of the small screen's toughest stars were also in attendance.
Unflappable TV spy Kiefer Sutherland was among the big names who set flashbulbs blazing at the network's White Hot Winter Party. Thanks to his role as hardened anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer in 24, the hunky actor is among Fox's most important employees.
And British pop guru Simon Cowell had likewise come along to the Los Angeles bash. The acid-tongued judge of American Idol, who is famous for his merciless criticisms of the show's contestants, seemed to have left his onscreen persona at home. Indeed the 45-year-old even joined in the fun when host Ryan Seacrest jokingly pretended to hit him.
The small screen stars had all come along to help the company start the new year with a bang. Fox says it is planning to move away from reality TV in the years ahead, however, so it may soon be bidding farewell to some of its best-loved employees.
