In 1998, workmen restoring Franklin's London home dug up the remains of six children and four adults hidden below the home. The London Times reported on February 11, 1998:

"Initial estimates are that the bones are about 200 years old and were buried at the time Franklin was living in the house, which was his home from 1757 to 1762, and from 1764 to 1775. Most of the bones show signs of having been dissected, sawn or cut. One skull has been drilled with several holes. Paul Knapman, the Westminster Coroner, said yesterday: "I cannot totally discount the possibility of a crime. There is still a possibility that I may have to hold an inquest."

WORKMEN have dug up the remains of ten bodies hidden beneath the former London home of Benjamin Franklin, the founding father of American independence.

The remains of four adults and six children were discovered during the ?1.9 million restoration of Franklin's home at 36 Craven Street, close to Trafalgar Square. Researchers believe that there could be more bodies buried beneath the basement kitchens.

Many won't believe this but it does come from the history channel (click first link of this post to see the clip from history channel), and bodies were found beneath his home. According to historians the satanic hellfire club is the one where they had to break all 10 commandments in a weekend as an initiation. Sick people...

Despite what some politicians like to claim, the United States of America was not founded on Christian principles. It's true that the first European SETTLERS here (ignoring even earlier scandinavian explorers) were puritan Christians. However, the US Constitution is one of the most completely secular government doocuments in the world. It helped that the people the wrote it (you know, the "Founding Fathers", Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, etc.) were by and large made up of Atheists, Agnostics, and even FreeMasons.

If it isnt religious in that context...then why after originally mentioning God twice, did they rewrite it to have him mentioned two more times?

There has to be some sort of religious connotation to it..

Well...I guess if it wasnt intended that way...it certainly ended up that way...so if they didnt want it to be God-intended...I guess it kind of back-fired on them.

It just hit me...yes thats what Im thinking of! I was still on the Ben Franklin signing the Declaration of Independence that I just blanked out the Constitution thing.

Okay..but even so...if you stay on the Declaration, doesnt what I say still stand to a point?

Who signed it? People like Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson...

Many of the founding fathers were deists and freemasons.

The 'G' in the freemasonry symbol stands for "god-grand geometrician of the universe," geometry," and "goodwill."

Whether this "god" on our coinage or alluded to in historical documents is really acribed to the Christian God or the other......that's for people to decide for themselves.

I would just say "render unto Caesar that which belongs to Caesar."

Really? Its for us to decide ourselves? Well...Im good with that of course...but seeing that some people make others believe that our country was founded on a Christian belief and try to instill that into our politics (even though they shouldnt)...then this is an interesting argument to get rid of that altogether.

I don't want the state to infringe on my beliefs....
and I don't believe my beliefs should merge with political ones....
I have opinions of course based on my beliefs, and they may sway who or if I even vote.
I believe in a COMPLETE separation of church and state....

which of course means, that I do have an issue with my church maintaining a 501C3 status non profit status...

I have talked with my Pastor about it and he is soooooo apolitical that he doesn't see a problem with it.
He doesn't even talk about politics....he says it's not his place to....I am not even sure if he even votes, to be honest.

But, if the homosexual community tries to get married in our church and he declines....he is willing to take a stand on that.....
because THAT would be the state infringing on our beliefs.

It could.

I always thought an agnostic was someone who hadn't decided either way whether God existed. They weren't completely against the belief and they weren't fully convinced either.
