say goodbye to 2004 post #1  quote:

2004 is almost over. Was it a good or bad year for you? Will you be sad to see it go, or will you be happy to start a new year?

2004 was a hard year for my family. My kids had a really tough time health wise. I will be happy to see 2004 go away. I hope that 2005 will be a good year.

Good bye '04. I hope the people who have undergone the tragic 2004 hurricane season and this tsunami bring their lives together as soon as possible. This year sucked. For me, my younger sister died from lung cancer and the dog that I had, had for ten years died from cancer. Also, my parents lived with me while they lost their house during the storms in Florida and were looking for a new house. I hope this year will be better.

2004 is the only year when my car went on fire while parked at night (!!!) and ofcourse all the other catastrophes like Asian tsunami So, IMO, it wasnt too good of a year but it is life, things just happen. Many good things happened too, i found a better job and met few people who are now good friends with me.

Anyways, we can't stop the time, so bye-bye '04, see you in history books! Welcome 2005!

You know i have a good feeling that everything will change for the better in 05. That's the first time im getting a feeling like that

2004 was a year of great tragedy, introspection, reflection, observation and coming to terms. My family and friends said good bye to two people as their lives came to a sudden end, but we also welcomed new life coming into the world. For some, 2004 was the very end of life's journey. For others, 2004 was the very beginning of life's journey.

For those of us who are fortunate enough to be welcoming a new year, Happy New Year to all of you!

Cherish each fleeting moment!! They may be the happy memories you cling to someday!
