Account Locked post #1  quote:

- why cant this site lock people for good from getting on? like it says when your banned from the site, "your IP is blocked" or something, but all you got to do is wait a few days or change your IP and your back on INReview? Isnt there a better way to block people? Im just wondering, do you guys block people by IP Address? Or how do you do it? Is there any special features you can do, so the person is permanetley (s/c) gone? Because my cuousin was banned from the site and I changed his IP adress with this program just to see if it would work and it did. So I assume you go by IP's. Thanks!

If his IP was banned well then it was for a good reason. As of what I know not many people get banned and its rare. You have to really do something to get banned and you do get plenty of chances to shape up because we give warnings. So maybe it would be a good decision to give him up?

We use a number of techniques to ban people. If someone becomes a serious problem, there are additional measures we can take that cannot be circumvented. We're not going to lay out all our techniques fo you to hack away at though. When we ban users, it is indeed for a good reason. We don't do it arbitrarily. We monitor users with multiple logins VERY closely, including yours, "scott peterson".

- i agree, thats why i dont change his IP, i did it that once when he asked. If you look at his posts, he was a huge problem, him and someone else are the only that I know of that have been banned. They do give plenty of chances as well, giving up was long ago my friend.

- thats the reason i asked the question, is because i wanted to know if there were other ways beside IP blocking. because that seems to be the one you guys use most often. i change my IP very often, I mean one day i may have yours the next not. I do this for other reasons, non related to this site of course. because i havnt caused a problem here so i dont have a reason too but theres reasons for IP changing, its not only for the touble makers , thnx for the reply sean, thats all i was really wondering, is if you go by IP blocking only. now that i know, i wont be curious i believe ive had an IP of someones on this site before, lol, but i would never ever try hacking any accounts or the website of INReview for that matter you guys are the best, lol. if i do get banned from the ste ever for a reason, i wouldnt come back, you guys have enough trolls here to watch, let alone another. but thanks again, to both of you of course
