Finally, home secretary Blunkett has, for the first time in his life, done the honourable thing and resigned. This is the man that gave himself the right to imprison people without trial, indefinitely.
It is, however, a sad state of affairs that a man so ruthlessly incompetent, and intent on throwing away the age old rules of law, (such as innocent till proven guilty), was only forced to resign because of a fast tracked nanny visa application.
This is the man who forced a pregnant women who was in hospital suffering from stress, and who's doctor pleaded Blunkett to stop his court action till she had given birth, to go ahead with court action.
This is also the man who has people rotting in Belmarsh prison without charge, indefinitely, because they are Muslim.
He is a man who has been used to doing what he wants because nobody can dare to question him because he is blind. Therefore, anyone who questions him are heartless for daring to critisize a blind man.
In short, he is a man who probably makes Bush wish he could be made suddenly blind.
