First, I don't look at Amber profiting from the death of Lacy and Connor.
She will profit from the stupidity of Scott Peterson and her relationship with him.
Maybe she should name the book" Dating a Sociopathic Killer".

I predicted the verdict but not the punishement. I didn't think that there were any people left in California that were capable of the advocation of the death penalty. I though at least some of the jurrors would have not voted for death.

My feeling is that Scott will never get the needle in California and will die a premature death. Hopefully a brutal one too.

Nah..wont happen unless a guard takes him out. He will be in lockdown 23 hours a day by himself and 1 hour a day outside also alone.

He wont have an opportunity to mingle with other prisoners.

- mean thing to say. i dont think anyone will get to a guy on lockdown. your right mystic he will be away from others. its funny, because if i was scott i would be begging for the death penalty. most people in the country are ignorant and dont realize death probably better for him. he wont be locked up with the general public, therefore he wont get the abuse he would if he recieved life. people think death means he will be put to death, well they forgot in california, no, lol. i also found it very disrespectful when people gathered the courthouse during the verdict of guilty. i saw the video on court tv. people were throwing garbage and cussing out scotts parents! what did his mother have to do with his wrong doing. this shows how some people or in this case many people, are just flat out morons. its sad.

Just because this man be the biggest jerk, or you dislike him, i cant see that being enough to convict someone of murder! Quote Mark Geregos: Scott Peterson's defense attorny.

I said the same thing before about what you said in him lucky to get the death penalty. If people really wanted to give retribution to the family, they would wanted the jury to give him life without parole...he would be so much worse off with that sentence than the death penalty, which wont happen for at least 20 years...if it even happens at all.

as for your comment about how sad it is to see people taking it out on his parents and family...well, I totally agree..

How pathetic that people cant seem to separate him and his family....they are treating them like they had a hand in the murder themselves...this type of vigilante justice that people have...its nothing short of disgusting.

It's the mob mentality...no different really from the days of throwing the Christians to the Lions. People get so fired up that they behave in a totally inappropriate and inhumane way. Regardless of how the mob feels about SP, there is no excuse that could ever condone the kind of behavior that a few heartless and possibly mentally unstable idiots expressed to Peterson's family. There are no winners in this situation, just because Peterson is guilty of murdering Laci does not in any way make his family guilty of the same crime. This case has evoked emotions in people all over the country who have nothing to do with the families involed, unfortnately that emotional response has led some of them to feel they are entitled to respond in any way they see fit...regardless of who it hurts.
