After interviewing the final four candidates, these leaders of the corporate world prepare to give Donald Trump their honest evaluations of the Apprentice hopefuls. Alan Jope, COO of Unilever, and Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, give their perspective on the final four candidates. Ace Greenberg, Chairman of Bear Stearns, and Dawn Hudson, president of Pepsi-Cola, express their personal opinions on the remaining four candidates.
Dawn Hudson: I really like Kelly. I personally have high regard for people who went to West Point. I though he was a little stiff, maybe not the most personable person. But he seems to react and know how to lead.
Allan Jope: Kelly would have to do something really wrong for me not to hire him. He's an extremely mature young man and he brings a broader view of the world than the other three candidates.
Robert Kraft: To me he's the ultimate team guy. (Like KB says - this guy is on crack!) As you said, the military training I think is a tremendous plus.
Ace Greenberg: Kelly had one thing going for him that you can't take away from him. He's led and knows how to take orders.
Ken NJ said this in post #17 : Dawn Hudson: I really like Kelly. I personally have high regard for people who went to West Point. I though he was a little stiff, maybe not the most personable person. But he seems to react and know how to lead.

"I though he was a little stiff, maybe not the most personable person."
But obviously she thinks not the least personable person either....
"But he seems to react and know how to lead."
I knew there was more....she obviously thought highly of him.
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)
"You might be the toughest little whacker. . .but in my world, you're about as worrisome as a cloudy day." (Dutch Dooley)
Let's say Pepsi Exec Dawn Hudson had a 10 to 15 minutes conversation with Kelly during the short interviews and formed that conclusion that:
"maybe NOT most personable person... but seems to react and know how to lead."
She didn't follow each of the last 13 week performances as much as we did in knowing what really happened with his last 13 weekly events. What Dawn Hudson doesn't know is how Kelly takes or not takes PRO-active steps in managing people and those weekly critical events. He's a short-timer.... what's IS IN IT FOR HIM. These types of managers don't do too well for a company. They only value themselves but not the team. Take for example, Bradford is the epitome of a great leader. He goes down in the trenches side by side and puts himself at risks with his team mates.... and team players respect that type of involved leadership. They are not just there in the beginning but all the way with them to the end. Kelly isn't that way, he REACTS and then moves off the mark.
The major problem with this type of leadership is that they MOVE from place to place, assignment to assignment and exact off single hit relationships, not much repeat businesses. Low customer satisfaction, which accounts for him having been involved in 8 businesses like 8 years as brought out during one of his interviews (not Dawn's.) Hudson didn't impressed me as an effective interviewer with Kelly. She's more impressed with veteran points, and Kelly never did finished serving his full 5 years as an officer coming out of West Point. She didn't ask Kelly to explain that but gave him extra points for something he never finished.
Wonder why NONE of his team mates from Mosaic respect Kelly as a great leader, besides Kevin? (see "Kelly Not Popular" AP Article 12/8/04)< -- Click HereBecause Kelly only looks out for #1 and never returned the same level of work commitment and effort for his team mates in the other weeks.
Chris Russo: "Personally, I don't care for the guy"
Raj Bhakta: "He lacks any chutzpah."
Andy Litinsky: "I would say Raj's characterization is correct."
He reminds me of what I call "Managers who are on vacation while at work." They just show their faces at the office, but don't really do much of anything else. Way overpaid and underperformed.
Well, anything coming from Chris "This task is friggin impossible (after 5 mins)" Russo should be taken with a grain of salt if you ask me. Raj, bitter as far as im concerned. He showed his jealousy with his comments about Kelly being in HIS limo. HE LOST... he did a poor job, and hes bitter.
Andy, I think, being very young is afraid to colour outside the lines and stay away from the herd instinct.
Last year was much better when the people who came back WERE NOT bitter, they were upset it wasnt them but they worked hard for the task in order to win. With the exception of Omorasa "I went from the projects to the white house" stalward-etc.... everyone tried their best.
HERE its a bunch of bitter people being Chris and Raj. Andy wasnt picked to be one of the helpers so maybe thats where his bitterness lies.
I dont see any of that from Stacey or Pamela EVEN THOUGH they are working for someone who they neither respect NOR like.

I can't blame you for ragging on Chris Russo, he's a good comedian and speaks a mile a minute like Maria Boren - the eye blinker. Both he and Raj seem to know Kelly's number and since Kelly didn't help them win, neither are going to do that much to help Kelly. It's payback time. Dont even know if Chris will go that far to help Jen since he lost, but Jen at least did try a little with the bridal merchants in getting gowns and inventory. So Chris might put half an effort to help Jen's basketball charity. Chris answered Pamela's question as to "who's Chris Webber?"
He's some black guy."

I actually like Andy and he makes a good team worker with lot of intellectual firepower. He comes up with some great ideas. I wouldn't sell him short. He was too nice a guy and let Sandy and Jen took over the boardroom, being too much of a gentleman.

Generally that's correct, but with exception of two - Omarosa and Katrina. Omarosa was having fun more than working at the Jessica Simpson concert. She acted out a script to sabotage Kwame. Nevertheless, I thought Kwame handled himself pretty well as an Executive through responsible delegation while I thought Bill Rancic was too much of a hands-on guy watching over every detail his team mates were doing. He was like micro-managing everything.... acitng like a first line manager and NOT an Executive. Kwame was more smoother in stepping in when needed to resolve staff glitches, customer backlog, complaints and smoozching when The Donald and Melania flew in by helicopter and gave the CEO the executive summary.
I dont see any of that from Stacey or Pamela EVEN THOUGH they are working for someone who they neither respect NOR like.
So do you think there is that Stealth Alliance bond for the finale? So far, I still think Little Stacey is anothor lazy person just like Jen. They both go through the motion, but lack any great effort. Pam will do her job but I'm not sure if she will go all out to help Jen win, because as much as Jen did do a good job in the QVC event while Pam was the PM, she still lost by $10. Hmmmm, could it have been fixed too? Was there a recount?
How was Katrina like Omorosa in the final task last year. She worked hard... she didnt say oh this should be me and not him. They were much better people last year and not so bitter. Omorosa is like anyone else who worked in the white house during the clinton regime.... bitter bitter and bitter.. just like some OTHERS on this board.... *coughKENcough*
I unlike you, dont think there are tons of alliances or producers stepping in to help candidates lose in order to make good tv.... when things dont go the way they should according to your expectations.....its a conspiracy.
She wasn't anything like Omarosa during the last taping. You have to be kidding me, right? Yeah Katrina worked hard at the Finales? All she did was walked around carrying her cup of coffee and didn't do much but a good looking ornament on the TV show. Well Katrina wasn't anything like Omarosa in the above manner, after losing.
She didn't get to the White House by dressing like that either. Instead, Omarosa met this guy who was his boss for the Apprentice show.
