Both families lost a grandchild too. Reguardless of how people feel about Scott, they should acknowledge this fact. Hell, the baby had a name. It does make a difference. You feel like you have a greater connection with the baby. My son Damon was named months before he was born. Both our families felt as though he was already part of their lives before he was born. Both of the families have been though a terrible ordeal.

i agree. it's because it's a natural emotion that they had to let out on somebody, unfortunately the petersons were the victim. i think that if it were a day later, once they had gotten their elation out, if the petersons walked by they would show them much more understanding and deference. it was just bad timing.
