R. Kelly feels "betrayed" by former tour mate Jay-Z, claiming the rapper hurt his feelings.
The pair parted company last week after Kelly was injured in a pepper spray attack at their gig at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday -- he had earlier walked off stage claiming he had spotted someone in the audience brandishing a gun.
Jay-Z later mocked the incident at a gig -- leaving the hitmaker fuming.
He says, "I felt real bad. I've always been here for Jay so I was blown away. My main concern was getting to the radio for damage control."
Kelly this week filed a $75 million damage suit alleging Jay-Z jilted him on concert profits and ruined his performances with bad lighting -- but he still thinks the pair can resolve their differences: "I would hope we could work it out, but there's been too much damage on my name so something has to be done. This is still fresh."
Yeah, but seriously, R. Kelly was the first person who took notice of Jay-Z... Jay-Z was already one of the biggest R&B acts when Jay-Z was starting out and R put him on more than one of his tracks...
