As a close neighbor I must insist that you don't knuckle under so quickly. The election results are far from certified. Let's see how this all plays out.
After all, we live too close to the big fat red terrorist target called Manhattan to be comfortable with 4 more years.
I agree with your assessment of the "moral red herring". Nonsense.

Here in America we are descended in blood and in spirit from revolutionists and rebels - men and women who dare to dissent from accepted doctrine. As their heirs, may we never confuse honest dissent with disloyal subversion.

Oh my attitude isn't really in response to this election as much as it's a response to other things going on in my neighborhood. That's why it doesn't matter Kerry or Bush to me, although I think Bush is not good for this country.

One thing I'd like is the complete gutting of these electronic voting machines because they are such a farce. It's like letting your kids ride with a drunk driver, you don't know what will happen, like a net of 4000 votes for one person.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

The guy who takes a chance, who walks the line between the known and unknown, who is unafraid of failure, will succeed.

Well the majority of Americans love Bush, but that's a mighty small majority. A lot of people crossed lines this elections. Of what little news I've read about morality being an issue, I thnk that's wrong and they're just pushing this fake issue. I don't think this was about morality at all.

If it is, then who is to say what morality is, mine may be very different from yours, so to say you're voting on morality is so wrong and ignorant.

Oh wel, FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS!

Well I dunno killing babies and supporting that seems pretty immoral to me. Doesn't it to you??

A majority don't love Bush, they voted for him. Many had to hold their nose. A lot of Republicans don't like Bush. My Republican parents voted for Kerry.

Sometimes the person who is the best choice isn't the most popular. Bush made and will continue to make some unpopular decisions, but you must ask, "Is it the right decision?"

Going to War is unpopular but it was the right thing to do. Both in Afganistan and Iraq.

I for one want him to continue to fight the war on terrorisn abroad and not in America. And as long as the focus is there and not here, I feel that the person responsible for that should be in office as long as we can keep him there.

Ron...you are absolutely right.

Long live Mr.Bush. He is fighting for all of us...and continues to draw fire from many.

I only hope someday people will uinderstand what we all face in the terrorist world.

I think that's my point. I'm so sick of hearing republicans calling democrats baby killers when they are all gungho about this **** going on. It disgusts me. I honeslty couldn't tell you what the majority of the pictures on that page are. I saw the first one of the little boy that was still alive and half of the next pic and I couldn't stomach it. Go ahead, all of you who think this "war on terror" is just ****in peachy and take a look at what's really going on.

War is not pretty, and of course the site you presented shows the worst part of war, DEATH! Of course it is hard to say which were caused by the Coalition and which were caused by the Insurgents. But one thing is for sure, this is an ANTI-War or maybe an ANTI-US Propaganda website. It is a site done to illicite a negative response against the US.

I think one thing that isn't mentioned here is that the Coalition is going after Insurgents and trying not to harm Civilians although sometimes it's hard to determine who is which. Whereas the Insurgents will attack anyone who supports the Coalition no matter who they are. And of course it also bad when the enemy uses CHILDREN to do their dirty work. Of course they are not going to tell you that.

Yes war is hell and people die, sometimes innocent people die including children.
