ANGELINA Jolie has been voted the sexiest woman alive by editors and readers of men's bible Esquire.
The luscious-lipped lovely polled seven per cent of a worldwide vote, beating off hundreds if not thousands of other sexy female heart-stoppers.
With such a wide range of candidates - effectively anything with a pulse and female anatomy - percentages for the best babes appeared deceptively low.
Purring in at second place with six per cent Catwoman Halle Berry, while Britney Spears - voted No.1 by FHM readers this year - came in third.
Others in the list included dishy diva Beyonce Knowles, naughty newlywed Jessica Simpson, Oscar darling Charlize Theron and Brad's bride Jennifer Aniston.
Jolie's reward is a place on the cover of Esquire's latest "Women We Love" issue.
The issue also borrows on an idea spawned in the mind of US President George W. Bush by featuring photographic bliss for its predominantly male readers in the form of 52 playing cards featuring the rest of the runners-up.

But according to the magazine, the public perception is nothing next to the private one indulged by former husbands Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
"If you knew me privately, you might think I was even wilder than my reputation," she told Esquire.
But before you heat up too much, a word about her softer side.
Jolie last year pledged $US1.3 million ($1.8 million) of her personal fortune for a Cambodian conservation project to support nearly 52,000 acres of forest, a cause she championed while filming Tomb Raider four years ago.
Jolie has also donated cash to African causes and is a celebrity UN ambassador.

The poll, voted by more than 15 million people in 27 countries, sees the 29-year-old beating off stiff competition from the likes of Teri Hatcher, Halle Berry, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton.
FHM editor Ross Brown said: "Angelina Jolie has featured highly in the competition for the last couple of years and she is a deserved winner of the global poll."
The winner of the UK reader's list will be announced next month - as voting continues online - with Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens going strong.
