Giuliani is a bum. His new "wife" is the woman he openly went out with while he was still married. Not many people seem to remember Giuliani before 9/11, not many people were happy with him. He was an opponent to civil liberties and lost almost every case that involved civil liberties in New York.
But Bush's comment was bad no matter what. It's like the time they took a Condoleezza Rice comment (I forget where I saw it) and the claim was that it was out of context. You read the full comment and it's even worse.

ICB the full remark by Rice was about how Iraq was remotely related to 9/11 due to humanitarian conditions and other factors, which in fact was a thoughtfull remark, whether you agree with it or not. You may and may not believe in methods and judgements of your president and people he appointed to work with him - it's your choice. However, Kerry AND Moore lied to you, lie to you, and will lie to you.
No offence but if Kerry does get elected i am going to admit that americans are, in fact, stupid.
