JoJo's been telling me about the advice Usher gave her when she toured with him.
The 13 year old follows her top ten hit 'Leave - Get out' with 'Baby It's You' on which she collaborates with Bow Wow - apparently the two youngsters have a crush on each other.
She'll be over in the UK in November to promote it.
Now Usher was fourteen when he first became a recording artist so he knows what he's talking about:
"He just said to work hard and to stay humble, which is really the best advice you can give because it is easy to get caught in the hype."
"He's been nothing but nice to me every time I see him - he's very welcoming, very warm and I love that."
"I'm not a dancer, I mean I can groove and stuff but I'm more of a singer, but just to watch him perform - his stage presence is incredible."
Check my discography thread his first album, Usher, was when he was 14. He worked with kick-ass producers then, like DeVante Swing, Al B. Sure, among others... also had Puff Daddy, back in the day when he could actually executive produce a good album
