I really think Snape is alright. He's just a bit better. In book 5 Sirius says that the world isn't divided in good people and deatheaters and I think that's the case with Snape. He's a bitter, angry sad little man but not evil. He had ample oppurtunity to let Harry & co die or at least let him get hurt and he didn't. I trust him. Mainly because Dumbledore does though and he's made some errors in judgement, so who knows???
