Gig marks producer Horn's career
Trevor Horn helped define the sound of the Pet Shop Boys and Seal
Bands such as ABC and Belle & Sebastian will play at a tribute show to mark the 25th anniversary of producer Trevor Horn's career.
The charity show, which will raise money for the Prince's Trust, takes place at Wembley Arena on 11 November.
The line-up will also include the Pet Shop Boys, Art of Noise and Seal, who have all worked with Horn.
Horn will also take to the stage as part of the electronic pop act Buggles - the first time they have played live.
Horn made his name with Buggles when they had a global hit with the song Video Killed the Radio Star in 1979.
'Exceptional evening'
He said: "I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work again with some of the world's greatest talent, helping young people who just need a second chance.
"As we are fortunate enough to have such an array of hits to choose from we will make 11 November 2004 an exceptional evening for everyone to remember."
He then joined the progressive rock band Yes as a member of the band, before becoming their producer.
The Pet Shop Boys will play at the show
Since 1979 he has produced such acts as Godley & Creme, Paul McCartney, Simple Minds and Rod Stewart, as well as the acts appearing on stage.
His slick production style was made famous by the success of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and their song Relax.
He was the first producer to have a number one on both sides of the Atlantic with two separate acts, when Yes' Owner of a Lonely Heart was number one in the US and Relax was number one in the UK.
He was also behind the success of the controversial Russian teenage duo Tatu, who topped the UK singles chart with their debut All the Things She Said
