Elevator Scene (Slight SPOILER) post #1  quote:

The elevator scene is one of my favorite scenes, in it, Tobey Maguire in full Spider Man costume, explains the uncomfortable aspects of his Spidey suit. The conversation (and uneasy silence that follows) is naturally uncomfortable and the film has the courage to let the scene go on longer than you would think which makes it even more hilarious.

What is everone else's favorite scene?

That was pretty funny. To tell the truth, this movie was a lot freer where humour was concerned than the original. I like this movie much better than the first one.

i'm just a sucker... one of my favorites was after spidey stopped the train and was about to collapse and the passengers reached out and stopped him from falling.

of course the whole train fight was amazing, too.

what a great "feel good" movie. loved it.

That moment was pretty damn funny, and you're right, they had the balls to make htat scene last just those extra few seconds.

I loved the villain in 2, but one of my favorite actors is Willem Dafoe, so I almost wished they could have switched places. Then again, Willem Dafoe and James Franco really had a great father/son thing going in 1, and Alfred Molina worked a hell of a lot better as Dr. Octopus than he would have as GG.

I loved that part too, and I loved that his mask was off and they all saw who it was. It was a "feel good movie"... and it seems weird to describe an action movie like Spiderman as that, but it really was. I loved it, and I really liked the elevator scene! It was so funny!!

My fav scene in the whole movie is where Harry slaps Peter in the face at the party! It was such a crucial moment in the movie it really showed the agony that Harry feels about the death of his father then to ice the cake right after Harry leaves Peter stunned JJ's son announces that he and MJ are gonna get married. I was crushed for him great scene... no great movie
