ursino2 said this in post #16 : I hear ya. Still, I wouldn't let it affect my opinion of Dafoe's performance. If the mask sucked, that's wadrobe's fault lol
What is more disappointing is that Harry Osbourne might wear the same idiotic mask in the third movie.

You'd hope we don't see that thing again! And one would also hope that a new Green Goblin character is a very small part of what will otherwise, hopefully, be a great third story. I have too much faith in the writers and Sam Raimi at this point to expect that they'll completely recycle Green Goblin for more than the first quarter of the movie...so maybe we see Venom after that or something.
It might be a duo of villains. Dr. Connors has been introduced in Spider-Man 2. Hob goblin and the Lizard might be Spider-Man's nemesis in Spider-Man 3.
BTW, glad to see you here Ursino. I haven't been to the Matrix forum in weeks.

I had to watch the first one, On Demand, last night...coudln't resist since I had nothing better to do. You knwo what I noticed; first of all, it's Thanksgiving all of a sudden and they're supposed to be in school, but they never show Peter actually going to class and messing up like he does in 2. Secondly, Connors is mentioned in #1 when Peter says, "I was late again and Dr. Connors fired me".
Lizard would be good, but a third mad scientist? I dunno...it would be cool but all three villains being the product of scientific experiments gone awry would be weird. Then again, how many villains in teh comic (and most comics!) come about this way??
Thanks for the kind words...I have not been to the Matrix boards either, but me and one of my friends talk about the three movies non-stop, and I still go to wylfing.net to read that guy's essays; he really pulls a bunch of great information together for one to absorb, and really validates the last two movies as great works of cinema instead of the pieces of crap the critics tried to make them out to be.
Another question: In #2, Peter asks where his comics went, and May says she threw "those dreadful things" out in the trash. I know the little kid helping her in that scene grows to become another villain right? What was the meaning of Peter asking May about his comics...? Was there something in there he needed, or was it just some bit of humor they let Stan Lee put in there?
To be honest I have only been a Spider-Man fan since I came to the US. Before that, I had heard of him, but never read the comics. Since then, I have picked up quite a few things, but I didn't know that that kid later becomes a villain.
About the comics, I think they just put it there for humor.
