zeppelinrules16 said this in post #1 : Everyone who is reading Chamber of Secrets (and many should be ) if you find something in this book that you think will be relevent to book 6, post it here, i am reading it, and writing down things. Like JK says the Prince isn't Harry or Voldemort, but what about Tom Riddle? Just a thought.
Tom Riddle was just a memory preserved in a diary. He is who Voldemort was. He doesn't exist anymore. What we saw in the Camber of Secrets was what he was like then. He wouldn't even have known about who he became if it weren't for Ginny telling him. So it can't be him.

I have another therory. In CoS, Percy is reading a book in Florish and Blotts about Prefects and their careers or something along those lines. JKR says there will be a new Minister of Magic. In GoF, Ron, Hermione and Harry are talking on page 534 and here's what they say,
"Wonder if Percy knows all that stuff about Crouch?" Ron said as they walked up the drive to the castle. "But maybe he dosen't care...it'd probabily just make him admire Crouch even more. Yeah, Percy loves rules. He'd say Crouch was refusing to break them for his own son."
"Percy would never throw any of his family to the dementors," said Hermione severely.
"I don't know," said Ron. "If he thought we were standing in the way of his career...Percy's really ambitious, you know..."
JKR says something small in CoS (Percy reading that book in Florish in Blotts) will be huge in the 6th book. There will be a new Minister in an upcoming book. IT'LL BE PERCY!
To save any confusion, I think samam663 was talking about the post at the end of page 1. Make sure you check you're on the last page, samam. I do that all the time.
Welcome to inreview and the Harry Potter forum by the way.
Oh, and I live in the UK too. Whereabouts do you live?

this kind of reminded me of neville. before you start to think i'm crazy, just listen to this;
if Filch had both a magical mother and father, then technically he's pure blood, like Neville is. But, Filch isn't good at using magic, and we all know Neville isn't either. So, maybe there's a connection between Filch and Neville.
Also, there could be a connection between Filch and Mrs. Figg -- they're both squibs and they have cats.
