Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here goes on Mugglenet. I'm fairly new to these forums and there's some really solid info on mugglenet.com about all of this. For example, JKR posted an several sentences directly from HBP on her website describing exactly what the Half Blood Prince will look like.... You'll find that it will exterminate a lot of these theories, and create entirely new ones...
"...looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles, and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp."
^^From this we can gather that is probably new. The Gryffindor theory seems plausible, considering all of the catlike descriptions. The Gryffindor mascot is, after all, a lion. Another idea is that it could be Frank Longbottom, of whom we have yet to hear a description. Any ideas??
Thanks for that Penny lane, I'm pretty sure everyone here is aware of mugglenet
I'm not 100%, but I don't think JKR actually came out and said that sentence was a description of the half-blood prince... I think most people jumped to that conclusion. But it would be wonderful if we could work it all out from that

While it was on her site, and behind the door... she did NOT state that the sentence itself was the description OF the half-blood prince. It's just a "peek" into the upcoming book.
