Heatherhobbit said this in post #30 : Emma has stated recently that she can't see herself being replaced. I interpret that to mean she plans to do all 3 remaining movies.
I feel they all will at the end. There's never been a film series with this amount of continuity, and I think they realize what they're creating. They'll hold out for more money sometimes, perhaps, and they deserve it for giving up their childhood and all, but in the end, they'll think: what's a couple of more movies? That's what I'm hoping at least.

Oliphaunt said this in post #28 : I have heard that Dan, Emma and Rupert aren't going to be in the 5th film. I thought it was sort of accepted that they weren't going to do them all.

Radcliffe to return for fifth Potter film
Daniel Radcliffe, the 15-year-old actor who plays Harry Potter in the movie franchise of JK Rowling's popular novels, is to reprise his role for the fifth film, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'.
In an article for USA Today, Radcliffe said he is definitely returning as Harry for the film, which is due to begin shooting next year, with a release planned for 2007.
Radcliffe's latest outing as Harry, 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' will be released in November.
There'll be another one after the one after the one which is coming next, even. Harry is supposed to be 18 by that point... I had facial hair at 18, but then, I was a real man

Well, I had a goatee at 18. Now I think my total body weight is between 60-70% facial hair... give or take 60 or 70%...
There'll be 7 of them, yes. The 6th book is almost out, and I think the movies will run quite popular until the end, to be honest. That may not be until around 2008 or 2009 though...

First and foremost being the part of Bellatrix. Owing to her pregnancy, Helen McCrory, who was scheduled to portray Bellatrix, has had to bow out. Apparently the shooting of the M.O.M. scenes will not be until very late in the filming of OOTP, by which time, McCrory would be very heavily pregnant.
Instead, the part is being filled by the inestimable Helena Bonham-Carter (Wallace & Gromit, The Corpse Bride, Fight Club, the Wings of the Dove). In our opinion she is ideal. Bonham-Carter is one of the best British actresses around and, with a bit of trickery from the make-up department, could ealily and convincingly portray the once beautiful and very definitely un-hinged Bellatrix. We are only surprised that WB did not consider her before!
Prof. Wilhelmina Grubby-Plank is to be played by Apple Brook (no, it really is her name), which means that Hagrid’s envoy to the giants trip has not been cut.
More young Marauders have also been cast. Young Sirius will be played by James Walters, Young Lupin by James Utechin and Young Snape (watch out for grey-ing underpants!) by Alec Hopkins.
Bane the centaur is to be played/voiced by Jason Piper.
I found this on the web today. Hmmm I think HBC is a bit too pretty to be Bellatrix.
I thought Kathy Burke would have made a great Umbridge. She played Perry in 'Kevin and Perry go large', also Waynetta Slob in the Harry Enfield TV series too and was so funny. I could imagine her simpering and hem hem-ing brilliantly.
Imelda Staunton will be excellent as Umbridge. Its such an important part to play and I can already feel myself hating her
I'm looking forward to watching the very pretty Evanna Lynch play Luna Lovegood. I've never seen her act before but I hope she does justice to one of my fave characters.
It looks like 'Moody's original OOTP picture' will be in the film too because Jim McManus is to play Aberforth Dumbledore! Well at least thats the only part I remember Aberforth being mentioned in OOTP. I wonder if this is significant to the final book because I'm certain more important scenes will have to be cut from the film!!!!
