The key here is that Evan MUST pick Zora to make the end of this show truly worth enjoying.
Enjoying. Hm - sad that it is - because I really like Zora moreso than the rest of the "two-facers" that littered the ranks there for awhile (and still do with Sarah).
All that aside - Zora's reaction to his lie will be far more interesting (with her lack of trust, etc.) than witnessing the inevitable disappointment in Sarah (no more money?? rough around the edges? Ohmagod - See ya!)
The more I think about it, the more I'm inclined to bet that the girls already know "something's up" - they may not know exactly -what-, but I bet they've been prepped by the show producers with something to the effect of, "okay, there's something about Evan that he's not allowed to say. You're not allowed to ask. At the end of the show, this certain something will finally be revealed, and you have to act shocked & surprised and tehn decide for yourself how you feel about that. And you have to churn it over and make a big deal about it even if you don't think it's a big deal."
And I think it MUST be this way because
1) I think Zora's going to win
2) Zora is a very mature woman
3) I don't think Zora would give a **** if this guy didn't have money - if anything she might be grateful to have found the "perfect guy" who's not spoiled by riches and really has an affinity for her (& vice versa)
4) As such, I think she wouldn't of her own accord make a big deal out of it, because it just, plain isn't.
oh and:
5) This might also explain Zora's "white witch" psychic powers that are constantly freaking Evan out, like the most recent one where she dreamt that he was some other person, blah blah blah - that had to stem from something and was put in for a reason.

Up until last night I've thought the same thing, but seeing Sarah's difference in behavior between being alone with Evan and being alone with Melissa M. makes me think that perhaps Melissa was sort of dragging Sarah down to her level. (?) Sarah seemed like such a sweetheart when she was alone with Evan, but like a back-talking, sassy little trick when she was with Melissa. Then suddenly we see Melissa being the only one behaving like a prostitute with Evan and she gets axed. There's something to that.. it really does seem to be a toss-up between the two now as to who he picks. I'm beginning to favor Zora because she seems more complex, more challenging and more engaging over the long haul.
I am so glad Zora has kept quite to the other girls about her dates. Melissa and Sara could'nt stand it, not knowing what happened on her date w/Evan!! They called Mojo trash behind her back, and then when Mojo was sent on her way, they acted so sad, and sorry to see her go. Glad she was sent back to Hooters or where ever she came from. She "talked" her way out of the show. She ran her mouth all during the train ride, boring everyone to tears! What was the deal with Zora's date in the hot tub? Melissa and Sara could'nt stand to play fair and let Zora end her date. They are coniving, no class, money hungry b..... I'm so glad to see Sara wearing something besides that tan turtleneck during the last ceramony. I don't know how he will choose, I hope it is Zora, she is the only one all along, that has a little class. I hope the next episode she walks away with Evan on her arm, and let Sara go back to her bondage tape.
Zora is Evan's choice because it's obvious that he got it on with Sarah. If he confesses to her, she drops him like a brick for lying to get her in bed. Joe's chances with Zora were saved by hot-tubbus-interruptus. He can still tell her he lied about the money and not be promptly jettisoned. It's not because she's any more -anything- than the 19 other girls, but because ol' Joe hasn't had another good chance since the hot tub.
