It does look like it's going to be a fairly decent movie. And, I'm hoping that the review that the critics are giving it is true. They say that it's a great super hero movie.

Kevin: Remember that one time when I ate those napkins?
Me: (laughing) Yeah.
Kevin: That was funny. Do you remember what made me do it?
Me: I'm pretty sure you just said, "Hey, watch me eat these napkins".
Kevin: (laughing) Yeah, that sounds about right.

Yes, that's what I've heard too... and I'm hoping so. The first one wasn't bad, but there was something, I don't know what, missing from it.

KJ,there was defintely something missing from #1 that #2 filled in. It wasn't a hollow story; it was a very good story, in fact. But it lacked a certain depth, and sometimes the CGI looked like way too much of a video game. plus, the movie jumps from Parker finding his powers, to beating up the bully, and all of a sudden it's Thanksgiving and they're renting an apartment in NYC.

The best way I can describe what was missing is the corny/cheeseball lines that weren't meant for great actors like Willem Dafoe. One of the worst of which, was when he said, "Sorry I'm late - work was murder". His costume as the GG also sucked.
