I think you missed his point Neo. If Hitler and Co were legally insane, then technically, they weren't responisble. The only one who was off his rocker was Hitler. All the others were "just" wicked depraved people.

No, that was my point. If someone is mentally incapable of distinguishing right from wrong - insane - then they are not legally liable for their own actions. That is correct. However, I do not think that Hitler's high command were insane, just as you said above. Therefore, they are not insane, which renders them responsible and culpable for their actions.
