I've got the solution chodder:
work on the helicopters that the police have!
Actually, I personally would be more interested in aeronautics. I'm not good with seeing bad things happening to people. I'd get stressed out, and I can't guarantee that I'd get a good job in a quiet neighbourhood. Plus, I wouldn't want to put my family through the stress of having to worry about me making it home every night, or dealing with parolees in the neighbourhood that I had a hand in arresting and putting in jail. Too many little things that would affect me on a day-to-day basis in such a job.
However, Aeronautical Engineer sounds like a lot of fun (also hard work of course). The pay would be good, I'd be unionized (sometimes a bad thing, but generally good...), and the only worry I would have is of some form of accident, which would be minimized by safety precautions and procedures drilled into my head while in school and on the job.
For me, Helicopter engineer would be the way to go, no question.
