The Elven Kings post #1  quote:

The Elven Kings started off being just Finwe, Olwe and Elwe but when the Noldorian elves came into Beleriand more were made.

Fingolfin high king of Elves, Fingon king of Dor lomin (or Nevrast I can never remember which), Thingol who was Elwe king of Doriath, Finrod Felagund Lord of Tol Sirion and king of Nargothrond, Turgon the hidden king of Gondolin plus the sons of Feanor and their realms. The last ever King of Elves was Gil Gallad.

Each king had his own part of the tale of the Silmarillion and the Lord of the Rings and each died before the end of the war with Morgoth save Gil Gallad who died before Sauron was ultimatly defeated. The most memorable of deaths of these kings was Fingolfins fight with Morgoth.

Despite the large part that these kings play in the history of middle-earth not many people know of their fate nor their stories.

Here can be discussed the life and deeds of the Noldorian Kings of elves

The High King Fingolfin's challenge of Morgoth has got to take the cake. I think that was one of the coolest parts of that book. That or the war of wizardry between Finrod Felagund and Sauron.

ps: Tiger, Fingon had Dor Lomin and Turgon had Nevrast, which he abandoned for Gondolin, the Hidden City.

Finrod arguabably did more for the children of Iluvatar than any other elven king.

He mgave his life for Beren, he was the first to encounter men, he led the Noldor over helcaraxe with Fingolfin and he asked Thingol for lands to dwell in for the elves.

P.S thanks shadow, I don't know why but I get tham mixed up.

Ok since this thread doesn't seem to be getting anywhere at the moment.

Who of the Elven Kings, in you oppinions, did the most in their life times?
