Good lord, this may have been the worst AJ series yet. Even worse than Larissa. Samantha thinks she's classy and sophisticated, but did anyone else think she was doing the whole trailer-trash-wandered-into-Gucci thing? And did my ears decieve me, or did she *actually* put Rachel down for being a teacher?? Not sure how teaching kids to be better readers pales to dressing people for a living...good lord, how trashy! I guess Samantha is one of those Michael Kleins in reality...arrogant because deep down she's insecure about her obvious lack of education and polish. I also suspect she's a hard-core gold-digger who doesn't really care about Adam.
Ugh. I think I'm gonna be sick now. My only consolation is that Adam's seen the final episode now and has heard some of the low-class and stupid things that came out of Dumb-mantha's mouth.
I imagine that most will agree with you. But Adam was a classy guy the whole way through, and chose correctly, the girl he wanted, not what his parents wanted. Why did he choose correctly? Because in every case, the AJ picked the person who made their heart beat faster! Passion always wins over brains.
And it should. Especially when you're young. Because that's what we all crave - to be swept away by lust, romance, and lastly, if it makes it that far, love! If you were to pick with your brains instead of your heart you would end up with a good person, but constantly be thinking about what life would have been like with the other one. That reoccurring thought would leave you with regret and it wouldn't be fair to yourself or your partner. And you would have to hide that thought from your partner forever. That's why, despite the common consensus of these forums, all AJ's picked correctly!

I guess I agree with you in part...he didn't make the kind of match I would have wanted for myself. But my take on the subject comes from long experience of choosing people based on what they seem to be without checking for the underlying substance. A hot guy/girl can get in a car wreck and get their face messed up...in that case, will the fire still be there? Yes, if the relationship is based on something deep, but no if you've chosen a shell of a person. I suppose it's silly to think that everybody's ready for something lasting, even if they say they are. One day Adam will grow up and do the little league thing and have a great life. And good luck to him. But my opinion of Samantha stands and I'm entitled to it...she's low-class in fancy clothes...and she even admitted she doesn't believe there's any point in discussing deep things when your physical chemistry works so well. Sigh. But if they make each other happy, I guess who cares anyway...good luck to them both.
PS: I read that Melana and Jason had broken up and that there are rumors that she has been spending time with Zack. Still think she made the right choice on elimination night?????
I can't believe any of you; especially the women are actually agreeing that it's good for a guy to think with his pants instead of his head.
This witch has had her 15 minutes of fame, she was beyond fake last night, not to mention a total wench when talking about the girl WITH morals, she will milk him for some cash and jewelry and then dump his dumb butt.... which is what he deserves.
His choice contradicts everything he has sad he wanted, which makes him a fake and a liar from beginning to end. I hope his parents don't let the sleaze back in their house, no telling what might crawl off of her and embed itself in the furniture.
Yes, of course. Because Adam didn't do it for her. She said she really only ever wanted to kiss Jason. It wouldn't have been fair to herself or Adam had she chose Adam and then all the time, secretly thinking about Jason.
Even Larissa made the right choice, because Brian didn't come close to making her feel like a woman, and whomever she chose ( I forget his name) at least gave her that rush she craved. She's better off having love d(or lusted) and lost than trying to make it work with Brian, since he lacked what she needed.

Former Adam Fan, I *agree* with you, hon...Read my other posts...I think Samantha's a dink. I'm not saying it's right for Adam to think with his pants. I think he should have chosen a women who can stimulate his mind *and* his nether regions. But if he's shallow enough to be titillated by Sam to the point that he would overlook Rachel, he should go where his hormones take him until he grows up. He and Sam might just deserve each other. I think it's a sleazy choice, and I'm pissed that I wasted a month of Monday nights for such a disappointing ending...but hopefully he'll wake up one day and realize the mistake he made. Shouldn't take too long--I doubt Sam is the LTR type...
And Larry, sounds like you're not having a bad time talking about the show either...It *is* a discussion board, after all...
This season was even worse than the last!! Samantha? I don't think plastic flowers are as fake as she is!! And the comment about teachers...oh, did that have me ticked! I happen to be a teacher, and I don't think she would last two minutes inside my classroom, much less know what she was doing! Adam just proved that he is as shallow as the other two- and Rachael certainly deserves better than that. Adam and Samantha didn't even have any conversation besides with their tongues. It was awful. IF they have another, I don't think I will have any interest in watching.
You hit it Smartypants. Adam at the beginning said he's ready to settle down. He was talking about how all his friends were getting married and having kids. His final choice came down to a woman who had her head on straight, was classy, educated, intelligent, great with children and then there was the one who clothes shops for her dog, dresses like a $5 hooker, and looks like someone who walked out of the trailer park, yet thinks she's sophisticated. How does buying sweaters for a dog and looking like a whore make you sophisticated? If Adam truly was ready to settle down the choice would have been obvious. The fact that he made out with every girl even though he knew he was going to eliminate them goes to show just how ready he is to settle down. He's looking for the girl that's flashy, hot and his trophy girl. How can ANYONE respect someone who puts down a teacher? Rachel works for such little pay with a room full of 2nd graders and she loves ever minute of it. I really thought Adam would have been better than Melena and Larissa. Give it time, Adam will realize the mistake he made.
