Last night's episode (#2) shows just how different Adam is from Melena and Larissa. When the model looking guys walked in on both seasons the two girls' faces lit up. And we all know in the end they picked those guys over the average guys. We all wondered what Adam would do in their shoes and he showed just how much better than them he really is. He wasn't all googly eyed when the bikini girls stepped off the bus. He was worried and didn't want the first set of girls to be hurt by the arrival of the bikini girls. It just goes to show that human instinct isn't to instantly be attracted to looks over personality. That's just how shallow people like Melena and Larissa act. Good for you Adam!
I think that everyone should have the experience of having been the ugly duckling. It definately gives you compassion. I think the reason Adam sent the hotties home and Melana and Larissa didn't is because he has had that experience, while they have been pretty and pampered all of their lives. Well, as Judge Judy says, "beauty fades, but dumb is forever." Their days as ugly ducklings will come, but for them it will be too late to garner the benefits from it.
Adam is a classy guy. But you've go this part "It just goes to show that human instinct isn't to instantly be attracted to looks over personality" wrong. Adam sent them home because he is considerate of how the other girls would feel if they were to return to a scene where he is enjoying himself with swimsuit models. Having had a taste of this himself, he doesn't want to be responsible for making anyone else feel "crushed" like the AJ's felt.
If some of those girls were in the contest from the start, it would be a different story, and then we'd see. Most likely Adam will pick the girl that he is both attracted to inside and out, like most of us would. Because it's the whole package that counts! Adam is a fair-minded guy and didn't think this twist was fair - that's why he sent them home.
I think he should have kept the models. Heres my reasons...
1. He could have eliminated all 5 that night instead of eliminating the regs.
2. He could have kept all the reg. girls and got to know them better instead of eliminating 5.
3. The reg. girls would have respected and loved him all much more.
I think even though he didn't want to hurt there feelings, he should have done what I suggested. Even though they would have been hurt, they would have felt 100000 perecnt better when he got rid of them all that night. Plus he can say the show made him keep them thats why he elimintaed all them that night. Word to ya mutha!
