Try Bearshare............ you gotta find older version as the new one requires you to pay............... it is BY FAR better than anything else out there

It's not the same as Kazaa, you have to actually hunt down .torrent files, but IT'S NOT ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

there's not as wide a selection I don't think either, but it should be quite large enough.

it slows your comp down, and tries to take it over. It installs so much spyware and adware and tries to make itself the default mp3 player and the default browser.... it's just all-around bad news.

Wow, what version are you using. Got to use Kazaa Lite K++, and run Adaware after its installed. Then you are fine, well I am.

Kazaa? Its really limited if you're tastes stretch beyond the simpsons and south park. Im not even gonna get into the songs. And most things say remotely qued, while there are a lot of songs most can't be touched. And getting anything newer 2002 is near impossible. Game selection? Zero. I could go on and on

Kazaa vs. BearShare post #12  quote:

I have tried Kazaa and I have also tried Bear Share. I really don;'t see much difference between the two except for the amount of adware. Kazaa has much more than Bear Share. Also I find Bear Share easier to use. That's just my opinion though.
