Who were your favorite TV doctors? Some of my favorites
Hawkeye Pierce-he was just so funny and great with patients.
Dr. Westphall from St. Elsewhere-he had a soul. You knew that he deeply cared about the welfare of his patients. Who would not want him for their doctor.
Dr. Greene from E.R.-all too human. He would be a nice doctor to have. Easy to talk to.
No one here will know her (maybe) but Sister Scott who was played by Cornelia Francis in The Young Doctors. OK, so she wasn't a doctor, but she was the baddest nastiest meanest nurse you ever met in your life and I thought she was great.
Does Dr Who count? They have started repeating Dr Who right form the very beginning here in Australia, RIGHT FROM THE BEGGINING, it is so so so funny, the very old episodes, all in black and white, and the aliens are always just hilarious.
What were those metal robot things in DR. WHO. The one's that the Doctor Who with the curley afro was always fighting.
Those things used to scare me a bit.
I'll add Dr. Who to my favorite Doctors and Quincy too. Quincy (Jack Klugman) was a favorite of mine back in the days when they just implied they was doing the autopsy, instead of showing it in every gory detail.
