JANET JACKSON'S MAN RESIGNS
Jermaine Dupri has resigned from the Grammy organization National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, after the "unfair" way the industry has treated his girlfriend Janet Jackson.
The hip-hop mogul staged a press conference on Friday morning in Los Angeles to announce his decision to quit NARAS.
Although few journalists even heard about the conference, Dupri took to the stage at the Staples Center, where the Grammys were held on Sunday, and said, "Right now, this is all unfair and I'm resigning from NARAS in protest.
"They haven't spoken out in the way they should have."
He went on to state he thought his girlfriend was being "singled out." Dupri also admitted he knew nothing of Jackson's plans to bare her breast before the Super Bowl.
He added, "I was there watching the Super Bowl like everyone else."
Meanwhile, Janet is reportedly very depressed after the national outrage following her Super Bowl shocker -- insiders claim she hasn't left her bedroom this week.
