It isn't going to be released until July. It's only feb.
Besides, I think people lost faith in the spierman saga to be released on time, remember the fiasco last time? They kept pushing the release date back for an entire year! lol
Please pardon my pseudo-intellectuaphilisophicalismysiticality.
People still talk about a movie, even if it has not come out yet. They wonder what new characters might be introduced, they compare what they have heard with news from others, they reiterate their feelings from the first movie, etc.. The problem is this is a Spiderman 2 forum instead of an overall Spiderman forum.
I know what you mean legend. Considering the first movie made $400 million you would think the anticipation would be higher for the second. Perhaps as we get closer to the release date there will be an influx of forum users .
hey well i dont know about you guys but spiderman is was and always will be my fav superhero.
iam a bit preturbed myself though about the lack of hype for the second movie ive seen the trailer and i can honestly sat without an unbiased opinion that the movie looks even better than the first one it has more action the stor delves deeper into the balance peter tries to have with his personal life and his obligation 2 do the right thing and the relationship between him and harry osborn the son of the infamous green goblin who spiderman "killed" now harry wants his revenge i think its gonna be fun to see how it unfolds
Spider man comes out later this month and I for one can't wait to see it . It is (in my opinion) one of the most anticipated movies to come out this year . And I also belive it will be as good if not better as the first one .
Even if a movie SUCKS BIG TIME...which...I think SM2 might be pretty decent... it's worth a talk...
Somewhere out there..there are people that'll find the lamest movie entertaining...and still want to talk about it...even if the rest of the planet erased it's existence from memory!!!
While the Matrix is certainly more deserving of philosophical discussion, especially on this site, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the movie on here. There's not much to say; we're still waiting for #3 and I only hope they stop there - but Hollywood can never stop a sure-fire blockbuster, so I woudln't be surprised if we saw a 4 and a 5 down the road. Kirsten Dunst and Sam Raimi supposedly only want to do three and that's it, and I can't blame them.
On another topic, though, what is it about Batman that 3 different actors can play him in 4 movies (and 4 different actors in 5 if Christian Bale as Batman comes to theaters soon)? I would never want to see anyone except Tobey Maguire play Spider Man on screen now that I've seen him in 2 movies, and I felt the same way about Michael Keaton - even though I'm a fan of Val Kilmer.
Had to edit and add this factoid: Per imdb.com, Christian Bale was born 1974, and Tobey Maguire 1977. Imagine how much older Bale looks, and they're only 3 years apart! Found that interesting...Bale looks like he could play someone in his 40's AND his late 20's. Interesting...sorry, had to add that
