Vote here: BEST Superbowl XXXVIII Ad post #1  quote:

Alrighty... cast your vote here for the best SuperBowl ads of the 2004 SuperBowl. Mention them here as you see them, and I'll have a complete list by the time the game's over.

To start us off:

A man is doing laundry as he's watching a football game. He throws in all the clothes into a dryer, then sticks his head around the door to catch a glimpse of the game. While he's looking away, he feels around the top of the drying for a lint sheet, but accidentaly throws in a napkin from McDonalds. Cut to his wife washing dishes. He comes up to her and starts smelling her shirt. She turns around and they start.... well...

That was great. More later.

Bud ~ Donkey Clydesdale post #2  quote:

Bud Commercial ... Little Donkey wanting to be a Clydesdale all his life ... except of course he's a donkey. He practices the walk and even puts hair extensions on his legs !

He finally goes for his interview audition and the Clydesdale's say "Son, tell us, why do you want to be a Clydesdale ?"

He answers with a loud bray and ends up making the cut and leading the Clydesdale team.

Cute, and funny. Reminded me of the American Idol auditions

The Bud Light with the two men and their dogs.
The first man is a preppy and tells his dog to fetch. He runs over to the porch, lifts the lid of the cooler, and grabs a bud light bottle in his mouth, returning it to his owner.
He then looks to the other guy, with a scruffy dog and says, what can he do.
The other guy says, "Spike, Bud Light." The dog bites that preppy in the 'yoo hoo' and the bottle flies out of his hand to the other guy.

How about the commercial where all these different kids are sitting in their homes, with a bar of soap in their mouths. And then, you see a kid and his mom, walk outside, where the camera pans over to this new Chevy vehicle that the entire hard tops folds down. The kid says... "Holy Sh" and before he finishes saying that, you see him in the house with a bar of soap in his mouth!

That was a great commercial.

There were quite a lot of great ones this year. I must say Bud, Pepsi and Cadillac were some of my favorite. Although I loved the Holy Sh** sop one! Great laughs all around!

These were the best; although all were forgettable! post #8  quote:

The cute ones were the Glass Freeze Pops,Cedric's Body Wax, Wrong Lipstick, Clydesdale Donkey, Pepsi's Thirsty Grizzlies, and Snow Volleyball. I was very disappointed in McDonald's Laundry( they used to make some great SuperBowl ads), Homer Simpson's MasterCard ;a disappointment ,as were those male impotence ads. Overall the ads were a disappointment, not very creative compared to past years. Luckily, the game made up for it in excitement!
