I would assume then that Abortion is legal in China?
But with China, you never know.....

Abortion is legal in China...but just recently in the news they are making it illegal to have selective abortions (gender reasons).

Its because of the one child policy why some might have had abortions over putting them up for adoption and they are wanting male children.

I believe they said they didnt want an unbalance in babies through gender, which would make sense.

What happens in twenty years when there's a population of 80% boys to 20% girls looking for partners? There's going to be either lot of gay men in China soon or a lot of guys missing out.

I think the government is thinking the same thing...I believe that's what they were thinking by making selective abortion illegal. Im pretty sure I read that the Chinese gov. didnt want that unbalance.

In China, only 1 child is allowed per family.
Any more pregnancies will be aborted.

But there is also news from China that the demand for Caucasian male semen has surged since women are becoming independent in successful business careers and would rather become single parents by artificial insemination. Just imagine that in 20 years a whole block of Chinese children fathered by a popular gene bank donor John Doe from Germany or Australia...

It may be off topic but that is one good reason why a spiritual mother is needed by humanity. Life has become routine and knowledge has taken over our desires and value system. Life is what we make of it but modern culture has made us give up living in order to toil for things that won't matter when we die.
