Ken, I am glad you try to stand up for you hero. But that doesn't change one thing about the character of the man. Kobe let down millions of fans, children, supporters, his family name, and most importantly his wife. What more is a man than his morals. He can always be forgiven his sin, if he repents and is truly sorry. His wife may forgive him, hell, even some of his fans. But the fact is still there... he is a HORRIBLE role model, and made a HORRIBLE decision. I am not going to stand up for him, or try to talk what he did down, rationalize his poor decisions. I will not respect him as a moral man either.
He will NEVER be my hero, as heros are people who do for others, and have extraordinary personal character, none of which Kobe has.
So sorry to say, but your hero is nothing more than a normal criminal, and thus, has no hero characteristics whatsoever.
